In Albania we filmed a documentary about the country with the highest per capita density by Mercedis Benz for Deutsche Welle REV - The global car and mobility magazine. With almost three million clicks, it is the channel's most successful video. The video and drone footage were shot by me.
Unbreakable
In Albania, every third registered car is a used Mercedes, like the one Luan Nina owns. He has been working as a taxi driver for fifteen years, and has driven this 30 year old Benz more than one million kilometers. The video and drone footage were shot by me.
Why Bosnians Only Drive VW
Why is the VW Golf so adored in Bosnia? Some people say that Golf's legendary status here was born during Bosnia's war of independence in the 90s. But the story goes back far further than that. The video and drone footage were shot by me.
Iron People Ukarain
They have evacuated more than four million people from war zones. They transport people, weapons, goods and supplies across Ukraine. The Ukrainian railroads are the country's lifeline. The service of the tens of thousands of female railroad workers is vital for survival. In Ukraine they are war heroes, they call themselves the Iron People.
We were filming this documentary in Ukraine for two weeks in spring 2023. With the help of local producers and the approval of the Ukrainian military, we were guided safely through the turmoil of war, from Lviv to Cahrkiv. The video and drone footage were shot by me.
Boxing in Ghana
We traveled to the world-famous boxing district in Ghana, Bukom, located in Accra. Home of no less than 10 world boxing champions! Most of the video and all of the drone footage were shot by me.
